About Us
The Albertson Fire Company has proudly served the residents of our community for the past 113 years with around the clock fire protection and emergency rescue response to the Albertson, Searingtown and Roslyn Heights communities. Our volunteer fire company members come from all walks of life. Their common goal is to protect the lives and property of the residents within our fire protection district.
Our volunteers put in many hours of schooling and training to master the skills required for firefighting and life saving challenges they encounter each day. Some of the training members have received includes Hazardous Materials Operations, Ropes I & II, Certified First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Medical Technician-Critical Care, Paramedic, Natural Gas Emergency Training, responding to incidents involving Long Island Railroad trains. In addition, many members have completed training on the National Incident Management System offered by FEMA.
The volunteers' only compensation is the satisfaction of knowing the job was done well. The members of the Albertson Fire Company consider it a civic duty and a privilege to serve you throughout the year. The Albertson Fire Company is always seeking men and women to join our ranks. If you are interested in becoming a member, stop by the I.U. Willets Rd. firehouse on Monday nights.
